Viva Las Vegas: Local Hip-hop Movement Set to Explode Internationally Las Vegas Washington DC - March 30th, 2009 - Controverse Media has combined with Heaven's Gems to create the foundation for an international hip-hop and R&B movement based out of Las Vegas featuring local independent and unsigned artists. The rapidly expanding Viva Las Vegas movement includes two weekly events, recorded music released through all major digital distributors (iTunes, Amazon, Rhapsody etc.), and a major promotion effort to be launched starting April 1st. The weekly events, titled Earotic for their provocative sights and sounds, take place every Friday at Poetry Nightclub located in the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace and every Saturday at the Neon Venus located in Las Vegas' art district. The Poetry Nightclub show combines the sound of live performance of hip-hop and R&B by local artists with the sights of body painting top local models. The Neon Venus show takes the exotic part of Earotic even further featuring Las Vegas' most desired black strippers in a hip-hop burlesque style event. Rapper, musician, and poet Verse, the founder of Controverse Media, is spearheading the Viva Las Vegas movement. The movement’s promotional effort will include the release of new singles from his upcoming, yet to be titled, international debut album. Verse's music is said to have an all encompassing sound; reminiscent of Biggie, with the flair of Jay-Z, the wit of Lil' Wayne, the grittiness of T.I., and the depth of Nas. Although rap music has left its niche of American urban centers and emerged to the international mainstream, Verse prefers to share the stage and opportunities with other indie and unsigned local talent, bringing a Hip-hop movement to the strip for the first time since Tupac died. Godiva Amour, the host and face of the movement, is the founder of Heaven's Gems Exotic Entertainment. Heaven’s Gems provides the models and dancers that give the show the title Earotic. Beyond her talents as an executive, her artistic side takes over during the shows where she combines her beauty through modeling and dancing, with a unique and sensual voice singing original and classic music. controverse, media, verse, production, music, hip, hop, r&b, audio, sound, film, video, legendary, poetry nightclub, earotic, vegas Media production and event marketing company serving Las Vegas and Washington DC.
